Welcome to Sculptor
Hi, my name is Jan Dvorak, and I’m an industrial designer. Designing cars has always been my passion, and after years of working in automotive manufacturing, motorsport, and various related projects, I finally decided to start my own thing.
While many tuning companies focus on a sporty and aggressive look, I prioritize balance. My philosophy isn’t about adding more but about refining what’s already there. I look for imperfections in proportions or shaping and work to correct them – nothing more, nothing less.
From my experience, the market typically presents two extremes: aesthetically pleasing, handmade, expensive parts, or unattractive, cheap, plastic ones. My goal is to find the sweet spot between these two, creating beautiful parts while keeping costs low.
The Process
01.
Idea
Selecting the car that requires improvement. Identifying the problem. Developing a solution.
02.
Design
Performing 3D scanning of the car. Using CAD modeling to design the product. 3D printing parts and testing for fitment.
03.
Production
Creating a mold for production. Using vacuum forming (thermoforming). Trimming ABS plastic to achieve the final form.
